Building Stronger, Smarter Athletes in Ayrshire
I’m Ryan, a Strength & Conditioning coach based in Ayrshire working with youth, senior and competitive athletes.
I help athletes move better, build strength foundations and develop the physical qualities that underpin long-term performance.
My approach isn’t about quick fixes or generic gym programs. It’s about structured development — ensuring athletes are physically prepared for the demands of their sport.
my approach
Performance is built on foundations.
Before adding intensity, load or complexity, athletes must develop:
• Movement quality
• Coordination and control
• Strength fundamentals
• Sprint and landing mechanics
For younger athletes, this means developing physical literacy safely and progressively.
For senior players, it means refining strength, power and robustness to improve availability and consistency.
The principles remain the same — the application evolves with age and level.
why future athletes
I’ve seen too many young players rushed into high-intensity training without the physical foundations to support it.
I’ve also seen senior players limited not by ability — but by preventable injuries and physical weaknesses.
Future Athletes was created to bridge that gap.
To provide structured, evidence-based strength and conditioning that complements football — not replaces it.
The goal is simple:
Develop athletes who are resilient, confident and physically prepared for their next level.
who i support
• Youth athletes building long-term foundations

• Senior and amateur players looking to improve performance
