about future athletes

Future Athletes provides evidence-based strength and conditioning support for athletes at every stage of development — from youth and academy players to senior and semi-professional athletes.

Led by a qualified Strength & Conditioning Coach and Sport Scientist, the focus is on developing robust, well-prepared athletes through structured training in the gym, on the pitch, and online.

Training is guided by key principles of long-term athletic development, injury risk reduction, and performance preparation. Every programme is tailored to the individual, taking into account age, training history, physical demands of the sport, and availability.

Alongside individual athlete support, Future Athletes works closely with parents and clubs to ensure training is appropriate, progressive, and aligned with competitive demands — supporting performance while prioritising athlete welfare and longevity.

how training works

Training with Future Athletes is structured, individualised, and built around the demands of the athlete and their sport.

Training begins with an initial consultation and assessment to understand the athlete’s goals, training history, and current physical capacity.

From there, a structured programme is delivered through gym-based sessions, pitch-based work, or online coaching.

Progress is monitored regularly, with training adjusted to ensure continual development and appropriate load management.
